As the old saying goes well drilling is one of the few jobs where you start at the top and work your way down. The depth of wells in the region can vary greatly from one area to another. When a well is drilled steel casing is installed from above ground to bedrock, this is generally 50’ – 100’. Valley Drilling uses only steel casing not plastic like many of our competitors.
Once the steel casing is set the well drilling continues until an ample amount of water is found that will supply the home or business. We have drilled some wells that have been over 2,000’, this is rare that we would have to drill this deep to find water. This is why Valley Drilling only uses the most modern equipment to drill your well. The drilling process takes on average 2 – 5 days depending on site conditions, weather, and well depth.
